The trade war is over — and China won (link)

The only results of all this is that Americans will continue to pay 25% more for Chinese goods.
That 25% will not go to china but rather to the US Treasury
Yes, paid into the treasury by American consumers.
The trade imbalance with china was not built overnight

and neither will the return to national economic sanity happen that soon either

Nope! I checked my receipt, there is no tariff tax.
Not worthy of a serious response.

You are the one claiming we are paying it. Prove your point because there is no evidence we are.
i) It's not on the receipt.
ii) With the lack of a spike in consumer prices, there is no evidence it is buried in the price.

Trump sharply ramped up tariffs in the middle of 2018

The Blue Line is tariff revenue flowing to the US Treasury, the Red Line is consumer prices. There simply is no spiking of consume prices associated with the spiking of tariff revenue.

Trump's idea of "winning" is to slap a 25% tax on American consumers, and use the money to offset the tax cuts to the rich.

You are correct! 12,000 were in place before Trump ever took office, but, as you can see by the Chart above, it took Trump to Make Them Great Again!

Clearly they passionately hold their views for reasons other than evidence and logic. Trump is doing a beautiful job leveraging our Trade Business to put America First.

He is weakening a military foe,
Has Mexico securing our border,
And despite Canada's current sissy Prime Minister, has increased the business we are doing with Canada, because let's face it, we couldn't ask for better neighbors and we think the world of them.

I make more money now then ever. My income went up 40% so if cost of goods went up 25% then I can live with that.

During Trump's first 36 months in office, the US economy has gained 6.6 million jobs. But during a comparable 36-month period at the end of Obama's tenure, employers added 8.1 million jobs, or 23% more than what has been added since Trump took office.

The average monthly gain so far under Trump is 182,000 jobs. During the last 36 months under Obama, employers were adding an average of 224,000 jobs a month.

On Friday, the Labor Department reported that employers added a fairly robust 225,000 jobs in January. But it also made some revisions to past data, which lowered many previous job growth estimates. While some of the revisions go all the way back to the last century, most of the changes to data took place during 2018 and 2019. So the revisions reduced the gains during Obama's final three years by 47,000 jobs, but it reduced the gains during Trump's tenure by a total of 354,000 jobs.

How Trump's three years of job gains compares to Obama's - CNN

Of course, facts aside, if trump lies about his performance enough, his followers will believe it.

Obummers gains were easy. And most were part time jobs as his obummer care killed full time jobs.

Trumps economy is increasing when it is difficult to do so. And under him wages are increasing for the first time in decades.

Face it, you are an ignorant moron.
Complete BS and you know it. The gains in unemployment since DJT has been office, and actually before, is due to states putting in place a higher minimum wage.

Delusional is your middle name, right? Minimum wage laws are hurting employment.

They merely drive up inflation. But you have actually know how to think to figure those facts out.
That made a lot of sense. Meh.

Show where the minimum wage increase by states is reflected in inflation.
