I have been wondering for quite some time now why a handful of well heeled diehard Trump opposers haven't banded together offered to pay the one million dollar penalty stipulated in the NDA provided Daniels post on the NDA and whatever documentary evidence she has pertaining to the matter of the affair and the payment of the $130K she received. After all, there is no criminality associated with breach of an NDA.
I mean really, it's a million dollars. Hell, in 2016 there were plenty of political fundraisers at which $50K, $100K, and $200K+ was the "price of admission." Plenty of very wealthy anti-Trumpers have spent far more than that on political pursuits that bore less fruit than it seems Daniels revelations may. What'd it take, five billionaires, ten, twenty who detest Trump? Some greater quantity of hundred-millionaires?
It's not as though a million dollars means much to Trump; the membership at Mar-a-Lago is $200K, for Christ sake, so it's clear the million dollar breach payment was chosen because it would have been financially ruinous to Daniels, not to Trump. So while it may be somewhat odious to know that one's giving Trump money, it's possible that it may be money well spent.
