Now, I doubt that anyone is going to storm the Capitol this time, and in 2028, Trump will have diminished the Republican Brand so severely that no one could get elected as Dog Catcher. It costs more to execute someone than it does to feed, shelter, etc. them for life. That's why there are so few executions.

Uh, guy, even with all the appeals, we still have way too many cases where someone innocent was sent to death row. The count right now is 200 Death Row inmates exonerated since the DP was re-instated

They were exonerated because someone appealed to a higher court and got the fuckups reversed.
