Because the point of the sanctions were to force Iran to the table...which they did and which produced the current agreement where they agreed to give up their nuke program. That's what the sanctions did, and they succeeded. BTW - all you Conservatives opposed sanctions on Iran. Who negotiated those sanctions? Clinton and Obama. Not Bush or any Conservative.
