Concerning Christ, I'm certain that many followers secretly believe that “Jesus” resides on Earth and that, upon His death, all existence will end and begin again with his "rebirth." Notice Jesus in quotes. The Christian conviction that He is alive in "heaven" now, poised to resurrect the dead and usher in a new Heaven and Earth speaks volumes, in my estimation. In the present day, a man exhibiting a messianic tendency is deemed mentally unsound; yet, for reasons "unknown," Christians do not apply this judgment to Jesus. I surmise that Christianity’s magnitude renders it impervious to scrutiny, and individuals shy away from the prospect of being perceived as irrational for asserting that “Jesus” walks the Earth. Thus, there lies a collective refuge in attributing such divinity to the figure described in the sacred text provided by God.

So christianity is now an apocalypse cult?

Neat!!

I'm pretty sure that most Christians know where Jesus is. We are told over 100 times in the Bible where He is:

Romans:8:34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.

Mark 16:19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God
.

But if it makes you feel better, we know He's coming back. :eusa_angel:

I thought he'd always been part of the Trinity. Did he only join it after his stick training? Or is the Trinity not a thing?

CS Lewis, in his book Mere Christianity Jesus had to be a liar, mentally unsound, or the Lord (God) as he claimed. If you are interested in why Christians believe Jesus' words that he is one with God--the very word of God--perhaps give Mere Christianity a quick scan (or even a slower scan).

By the way, Mere Christianity was written in 1952...

Christianity is based on threats to comp[ell obedience. Youre going to hell if you dont believe and obey. Well KMA. There is no original sin in Genesis therefore Jesus never existed

Let's remove threats of hell from the picture. As is kindness, obedience has always been presented as a virtue, and the blessings that come from practicing obedience are commended.

Genesis records the first act of disobedience (which some call the Original Sin). Whether or not one sees this as an act of disobedience, it did come with consequences that effected human history.

Yes, Jesus did exist and scholars do agree on this point. Where faith and belief enter the equation is on whether Jesus is also one with God as he claimed. Much of Jesus' life and teachings reflect/mirror what happened in the Garden of Eden.

There is no original sin or fall of man in Genesis. Its the moral teaching of man and the trial for mans freedom. Jesus did not exist hes an idol. If he did exist he was a Jew. If you believe in him why arent you Jewish.
There is no hell or devil. This is the way threats are used to compel obedience. Thats the opposite of the message in Genesis.

The only thing that saved modern Christianity is belief in the 10 commandments. It only took 2000 years to figure that out. The only good in Christianity is based on Jewish beliefs

I appreciate you taking time to present your beliefs.

There is more to Christianity than the Ten Commandments--and is why there are still quite a few Christians practicing the Christian faith.

Belief in the decalogue saved Christianity from its violent past. Thats the foundation of morality. The rest is all BS

True, there is really no middle ground for the historical Messiah Yeshua - Jesus, either He was the Jewish "Moshiach ben David, Messiah The Passover Lamb, who fulfilled the role of a modern Jonah, and went to hell itself for three days for us, who will accept His sacrifice on our behalf, or He would have to have been delusional?

Near death experiencer Kevin Zadai was shown that Messiah Yeshua -Jesus actually went to hell itself for three days until He was resurrected. Then he fulfilled another part of the role of "Jonah" by teaching his disciples anywhere on this earth during the forty days between His resurrection and when He ascended into heaven.

[Near death experiencer Kevin Zadai Th. D.] : "Jesus shared with me about the time He spent in hell after dying on the cross. He said during the time He was cut off from the Father and the Holy Spirit, He experienced torment and punishment for everyone's sins so that we could escape the pain and punishment we deserve. no human being needs to go to hell because Jesus paid the debt created by all our sins.

He was extremely passionate when He talked about His anguish of separation from God. He said that He had to go deep within Himself to remember and rehearse His identity with the Father because circumstances were screaming the opposite.

ABANDONED BY GOD

Think about it: Jesus had never experienced a moment without the Father's presence until He was dying on the cross and uttered, "'Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?' that it, 'My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?'" [Matthew 27:46] Satan thought he had defeated Jesus until He received the command from the Father to walk out of hell and take with Him the righteous dead. The Apostle Paul reported in the book of Ephesians, "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men" [Ephesians 4:8-9]. In Revelation 1:18, Jesus said of Himself, "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death."

The Father promised Jesus that by His following through with the salvation plan, God would unite humanity with Him in a plan for their redemption. Jesus expressed to me with great emotion, in a broken voice, the anguish He went through for us and His great longing that I share its importance with everyone who would listen:
"And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2L8-11."

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to him, “Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.” 39;But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign; but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40;For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so will the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41&;The men of Nin′eveh will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, something greater than Jonah is here. 42&;The queen of the South will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, something greater than Solomon is here." [Matthew 12]

Moral values are what matters and today Christianity works quite well.

True, I would be termed "Christian" or "Messianic Gentile" which is essentially the same thing. I am totally convinced that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus accomplished all that He promised to do and now I believe that he even has the technological power and the authority to send people back from death, on a mission, such as near death experiencer Robert Marshall claims to have been sent on.

For the record many of you may wish to skip the first twenty five minutes in order to get to the part where Robert testifies that he met his previously deceased two HORSES as well as his three little dogs!

PROFOUND NDE: BRAIN DEAD for 90 MINUTES; Met JESUS in HEAVEN & RETURNED w/ MESSAGE | Robert Marshall

Robert Marshall recounts his near-death experience, detailing his three-day coma and subsequent resurrection on May 17, 2017. He describes his time in heaven, where he interacted with Jesus, his father, and pets, and learned about the Bible and the new heavens and earth. Despite being brain dead for 90 minutes, he miraculously recovered with a new brain and body. His wife's determination and a living will prevented the doctors from ending life support. Robert emphasizes the miraculous nature of his recovery and his mission to share his experiences and teachings. Robert Marshall recounts his near-death experience, detailing how he died on May 19, 2024, and returned to life on May 23, 2024. He describes the disbelief and amazement of his family and friends upon his return, emphasizing the medical evidence of his death and resurrection. Robert shares the message he received from Jesus, urging doctors and nurses to trust in divine timing and their roles in performing miracles. He reflects on his transformation from an arrogant, competitive person to a kinder, more compassionate individual.

Those who choose what you say are missing blessings and grace while living The Way--it's the road less traveled.
There is more than one way. IN fact there are many and you define that yourself how you live and what your life means.

When a Christian tells you they believe that a man rose from the grave 2000 years ago, is in heaven now at the right seat of the father, waiting to judge the world and bring forth a new heaven and new Earth (whatever that means), what are they really saying? Come on! Sometimes you gotta use your head.

They still believe in the very old primitive religious concepts but it doesnt matter. Culture and moral values define them and they work just fine. Its successful culture.

So do you believe that YOU have the wisdom and the understanding to discern the errors in what near death experiencer Robert Marshal testifies to having been shown?

I don't think you can find any significant errors in his testimony when it is combined with the astonishing medical records in his amazing case.
