I'm not sure there is a clear "Conservative" position on the U.S. as the world's de facto policeman. We are free to draw our own conclusions.
Israel, since its inception, has been the victim of Arab/Persian/Islamic attacks for no reason other than its mere existence. There has been no period when these attacks stopped and they have generally increased in number and intensity over the decades. October 7th was, as they say, "the last straw," when Israel decided to exert its best possible efforts to eliminate the biggest offender. While sitting on the sidelines, I think American Conservatives at the very least approved of Israel's disproportionate response. The U.S. has not actively participated.
Iran is part of this conflict, financing and provisioning various groups of individuals who actively and aggressively seek to destroy Israel. At the same time, they have obvious visions of becoming the "USSR" of the Middle East, with the military props to be exactly that.
Is it our business in the U.S.? Maybe not. That is debatable. Conservatives can disagree.
American Leftists, OTOH, are blinded by their TDS and oppose anything that Our Beloved President does, regardless of the merits of the case.
Conservatism does not demand support for everything Israel does, nor does it demand assertion of Israel's "right to exist." But we mostly support both.
