The Judge's order was a bit of overreaching nonsense. However, the nonsense from the judge doesn't address the question of restoring respect for the Constitution. If I were a democrat, my first question would be why do you imagine the Constitution deserves respect? After all, democrats all know that this is an outdated scrap of paper written by straight white men who owned slaves. They are certainly not to be respected. Democrats want their statutes and memorials abolished. So why would the document they wrote and upon which they staked their lives and their sacred honor be respected?
