Like Kimmel, this will create another person to rally Democrats who have little momentum and perhaps even push some Independents and libertarians to the Dems. By many accounts I have heard, Comey is a heathen who destroyed many decent citizens through over reach. Thus, he is not the kind of figure who will generate much sympathy. However, Americans won't support this case if it is perceived as being political. Such methods contribited to Trumps support in 2024. On the face of it, it's another slippery slope and Comey appears quite confident he will be exonerated. What they did to Trump was unconscionable though regardless, this much I will not waiver from.

This case isn't off to a great start if after only being presented with one side of the story (and seeing as Halligan is a representative of the trump regime she very well may have lied to the grand jury) only the slimmest of majorities voted to indict.
