The Sabres are ranked first in the Atlantic Conference. They are likely to make the playoffs after 14 years of no playoffs. I did not know the Sabres had a playoff drought almost as bad as the 17 year playoff drought of the Bills. I am rooting for the Sabres to win the Stanley Cup and I do not follow hockey though. Go Sabres! :)

yes they are looking really good this year, it's been ages since they had a decent team
sometimes the chip just fall right
they have never won the stanley cup, so very much overdue

From my days as a kid I root for the Maple Leafs and grew to like the Bruins from the Bobby Orr and Pie McKenzie days. I now have Buffalo #3 on my list.

I once watched a Sabres game back when they played in their old un-air-conditioned arena. It was a hot day and so fog would form in the arena. Occasionally they would stop the game and a few Sabres players would zoom around the ice waving towels to lift the fog.

I got a chance to see most of game 2 and the Sabres did not look like a playoff team at all. they were real bad.

in regards to the NFL Draft, as long as Brandon Beane is running the Bills, they will not make it to the Super Bowl no matter who Beane drafts. seven straight playoff appearances and not one Super Bowl appearance is the Brandon Beane way.
