Funny, they said the same thing they made the minimum wage $0.25
When unions were strong, companies began moving out of the US. That's because wages kept increasing to the point it was cheaper to go somewhere else and ship products back to the US. When you increase MW that high, it's going to do the same thing or worse because of the domino effect.
People on MW now are struggling. A year or two after the new MW kicks in, these people will find themselves right back to where they started because everything they buy will be more expensive as well.
