The Official Bret Baier/Kamala Harris Interview Thread

So, political gridlock? How does that help the country?

For those of us not smitten with big Govt, the less that our Govt does, the better off we are.

It keeps one side from filling the courts with unqualified people based only on their party loyalties

Geezus H Christ that was something! What a meltdown.
Without a doubt.

Trump has done interviews with unfriendly people and outlets. He is very calm, and just tells them they are lying about facts and narratives he doesn't like when it comes up.

He certainly doesn't go off the deep end like that.

You are aware that Trump had a higher staff turn over, right?
I am aware that Trump too, has had a lot of staff turnover.

I would NOT say that it can be absolutely known who has had more, TBH.

This won't be accurately reported anywhere.

You should know that.

It is not hard to know the exact numbers since it is all public knowledge.

My wife watched most of the interview while getting ready for work this morning.

She said Harris kicked ass and would not let Baier trick her into giving him sound bites.

I hope you all understand, but I put a tad more faith in her judgement than yours.

Not after the Brett Baer interview tonight. Now, Democrats also understand what Republicans feel in lopsided interviews and election debates. He didn’t let her worm her way out of the questions. She tried to go to “Trump” but looked stupid doing it.
It wasn’t a lopsided interview. It’s just that Dems are used to softball questions and having the interviewer help them along.

Brett was fair, remained courteous after she talked down to him, and asked very valid questions - which she of course skirted away from.

She’s lucky it’s only 30 minutes. If she had to go 60 minutes, she’d be the Wicked Witch of the West - and melting.
It wasn't she arrived late and they pulled that bish early, three or four aids saying cut

lol…We’re beyond that Happy…Are you saying Kagan, and Soto, brilliant minds that transcend political considerations?

Don’t make me laugh.

It is not hard to know the exact numbers since it is all public knowledge.
Bullshit.

Both Trump and her had staff, advisors and unofficial advisors. That number is necessarily nebulous.

On top of that, they held two different offices. The number of staff that a president has, is on orders of magnitude much more than the office of the VP.

You would need to know who, and how many folks interact on a daily basis with both. Then you would have to know how many of that number were canned by both.

. . . and when you knew all of that data, you would have to crunch the numbers and do a percentage of full staff, official and unofficial.

All of that data? Is certainly a "known-unknown," and there is not a place, either on the left, right or from MAGA friendly media that will give you all of that information.

That real point here? Is that since it is such a hard number to calculate? YOU DON'T REALLY KNOW if it is true or not!

Bret Baier Shares His Impressions of Kamala Harris After Contentious Sit-Down

16 Oct 2024 ~~ By William Vaillancourt

Fox News host Bret Baier recapped his Wednesday night interview with Vice President Kamala Harris, telling his colleagues that he got a sense early on that Harris “was going to be tough to redirect without me trying to interrupt.”
The interview, Harris’ first on the right-wing network since becoming the Democratic nominee, was broadcast on Special Report after being filmed in the previous hour. According to Baier, the interview had been scheduled for 5 p.m., but Harris showed up 15 minutes late. This, he complained, was like “icing the kicker” in football.
“We were supposed to start at 5 p.m. This was the time they gave us.

Baier said later that towards the conclusion of the interview, he could see members of Harris’ team signaling that his time was up.
“I’m talking like four people waving their hands like it’s got to stop,” he said, adding that Harris might benefit by doing similar interviews in the future.
“Maybe she should do more of these,” he said.

Commentary:
On the question on the number of illegals entering America, Harris avoided answering to the numbers.
In another article a reporter claims Harris shutdown Baier.
Anyone whatching the interview can see that Harris was not capable of answering, or had to filibuster because that answers required truthful resposnses that Harris was unable or unwilling to give.
She also said she wouldn't do anything different so all we have is the same terrible policies being done by a different person. This is not a recipe for for success

Yup. She said that hers would not be a continuation of Biden’s policies, but then says she wouldn’t have done anything different

So, political gridlock? How does that help the country?
I pray for political gridlock if the DEI idiot “wins.”

I pray for Republican control of Congress if Trump wins.
