The metaphorical wrecking ball analogy takes a physical form.

Personal isn't corporate, you never qualified.
There have been other Americans
of great business accumen & success,
with failed attempts,

kind of like a Hollywood movie.
Choose your script
pick the best director

Trump does not have great business acumen and has not been particularly successful.

The only reason he survived his ā€˜acumenā€ in the 80’s and 90’s was because daddy was there to sign the personal guarantees and shovel cash into his son’s money losing schemes.

Oh, and pay the settlements on the tidal wave of litigation that followed (s) Donald around.

After daddy died, Russian bankers and money launderers floated the Trump boat.

This is typical.

None of this would come as a surprise to anyone reading the business page. It was all there, and well known in the worlds of finance and real estate. Trump couldn’t raise a dime on one of his deals in New York, where his deadbeat reputation was well established.

But banks on Cyprus, controlled by Russian oligarchs, and banks Russians laundered their money through (Deustche Bank) stepped up.

Why do you think Trump kisses Putin’s ass???????

Have you ever stayed at a Trump Hotel ?

Actually, I stayed at the Plaza shortly after Trump managed to unload it, after a lot of noisy boasting about how Ivanka was going to make it a showcase.

It had been left to run down, and it was seriously in need of renovation.

I have not, and will not stay on a Trump property. He didn’t get my vote, and won’t get my money.

Once again , I am not a Democrat , I am an Independent. This wanton destruction should not be a political issue. Everyone should be taken back by it. And allow the law to take it's correct course. This is worse than when the Capitol was desecrated. Again all Trump's fault. No one will want a lasting reminder of him by the time his disastrous term is over. Especially in such a prominent and dignified location. Look at how gaudy the Oval Office has become. No taste at all. When I graduated high school I had the honor of visiting both sites on our senior class trip to Washington , D. C. I saved a whole year to.be able to go on that trip and felt honored and humbled to enter those historic buildings. This is not just a simple crime , it is a crime against all Americans.
It's like watching Property Brothers and saying "it's just like the planes hitting the towers all over again".

It is litterally only up to Trump and his personal lawyers that he has installed at DOJ.

You HOPING for this blatantly corrupt, self-dealing act is a very sad commentary on the times we are in.
Sorry bro the law is the law.
Just because you don't see it
doesn't mean we don't.

Somebody posted this on another thread. Funny old world isn't it? My, how things have changed.

How 'bout ice tea on the car shield ads..

"This is your worst nightmare !"

Woman standing in a school parking lot in front of her new Lexus suv on her cellphone as the happy children flock into the school building to be indoctrinated
by the the folks selling the car insurance.

Your worst nightmare...

Then I flashed on Isreal & Gaza,

Then back to the school parking lot.

Tell us, pray tell, what patriot's deaths have to do with a WH wing that was built, while cutting corners, during WWII while the country was experiencing austerity programs and rationing?
That's why they're naming it the "Climate change Ball of death"

(thunderdome)
or Hotel California
which the whitehouse was always anyway.

Leadership is totally lacking in trump , it's a let's do this and if that doesn't work then let's do this approach. In other words he doesn't know what he's doing. Putting the entire nation at risk in the process.
Donald Trump is the DEFINITION of a leader. You obviously hate him but if you can't even acknowledge the obvious you are hopeless.

What part of this is part of the history of the WH don't you understand. The WH is NOTHING like the original structure--thank goodness. We'd be sending smoke signals from the roof. The west wing and that oval office that you reference weren't constructed until the 20th century and the east wing that you're having a cow over wasn't constructed until 1942---historical? I think not. Just more of your unhinged hysteria. Every POTUS has left a mark on the WH--Biden hosted sexual deviants and cocaine addicts but you were strangely silent on that while throwing a hissy fit because Trump is making an addition that has long been necessary so that heads of state are not relegated to tents on the south lawn. Dry your tears. The sun will rise tomorrow and this renovation will be a fine addition.

How many boohoo threads is the OP going to spam the message board with? šŸ™„

Does the East Wing still exist. It does not. Who is to blame. Only one crazy man. Good luck trying to alter these facts.

If Trump had not spent the last ten months turning the American presidency into a combination of classic Mafia family and modern neofascist regime, and if he had been demonstrating some calm reason, intelligence, decency and the SLIGHTEST HINT of maturity to his overall approach to governance, I suspect this issue would not be nearly as controversial as it has been.

But he has decided to go down that road. It appears to be all he knows. So yeah, people outside his cult are going to be a little touchy about stuff in general. That's the way it goes. Human nature.

Of all the stupid shit, childish idiocy I think this one takes the cake. Trump is using the rubble from the East wing for some golf course construction I guess. Obviously it's being used as landfill.
And this is causing an uproar?

I mean I kind of half agreed with the people who oppose taking down a piece of History... Although from what I've been reading it's been known for some time that the White House needed some type of high capacity, official reception room and really did not have one.

Aside from the fact that I disagree vehemently with Trump on his interior decoration choices it's probably a pretty good idea.

Was it necessary to take down the East wing?
I have no idea.

But rubble is rubble.... Does the media actually think anyone is going to get all twisted up and lose sleep over where the East Wing runble goes?

I mean, how the hell do you disrespect rubble? Lol. Is there some legal motion afoot to charge Trump with theft of government property because he used the rubble in a particular way?

If he decided to move it to a special dedicated Park called the East Wing rubble Park he would be criticized for that too I'm sure.
