I have 25K alone on one forum...5K on another, a few thousand on a few others...I'd say 50K is pretty accurate.

Actually, the smaller the rings used, the more "silky" the material feels. I made a shirt of 1/8 diameter rings and it just feels awesome. Most people just love the feel of it. I even had to make a few small patches for some friends just so they could play with it (sorta like prayer beads)

Wouldn't you have to shave to make it more comfortable? I cannot imagine getting the short hair stuck in chain mail!
