We will not have a civil war, anymore than we allow our President to destroy a civilization.
Why? A friend of mine informed me that:
I cannot find in my limited understanding of history the threat of someone wanting to destroy an entire civilization. Threatening even our worst enemy could not justify such loose-tongued jibberishness. These are the words you would expect to hear from a tin-pot dictator. Instead, they came from the president of the United States. Can anyone truthfully be proud of our nation’s international representative? He has made our country a pariah right along with his good friend, Vladmir Putin. My goodness. In some ways we are to blame. Trump clearly does not understand the moral requirements of the office he holds. The people of the United States hired this man and now should fire him. But that is too easy. His successor the vice-president is in Hungary openly campaigning for Europe’s most brutal dictator, Viktor Orban. But then removal of the vice president also means that the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, would follow. There is no easy solution as we endure this Age of Trump. We are living a political nightmare. Wake up this nation!
