were scheduled for crucifixion. I don't remember any SPECIFICs
about Barrabbas in the NT----but since he was scheduled for

Caiaphas was the high priest and leader of the Sanhedrin. How was he not a Jewish leader? The Sanhedrin were the ones who arrested and tried Jesus. It was Sanhedrin guards who came to Gethsemane to arrest Jesus. The Sanhedrin would have executed Jesus but they did not have the authority to impose capital punishment in his case.

"Woke" as liberals practice it means demonizing anyone who disagrees with them. It means denying biology. It means trying to keep elective abortion as easy to obtain as possible. It means redefining marriage to include same-sex couples, in plain rejection of the biblical and traditional definition. It means censoring speech they don't like. It means forcing women to compete against biological males. It means excusing BLM riots. It means allowing minors to have transgender surgery.
