First we would suggest replacements for both Netanyahu & the Palestinian leadership we could agree on for each side in the conflict. Then comes the real challenge. Finding a staff on both sides to promote our proposed leaders to win elections among the people. And these two will be on our peace loving staff, if still alive. Need many more like them. The land was ceded to Palestine by the Treaty of Lausanne in 1924. All of the citizens of the previous sovereign became Palestinians citizens in 1925. A few percent of these were Jews.

No land has ever been ceded to Israel.

True, Palestine's international borders were defined by other postwar treaties.

Palestine was just Britain’s nickname for the British Mandate, which resulted in Israeli statehood. British Palestine ended in 1948.

Arabs, Muslims didn’t recognize any place as Palestine—It was simply southern Syria.
