I read the following today in a news story about a mass exodus from the Civil Rights division of the DOJ because there is not going to be an investigation into whether or not Ms. Good's civil rights were violated:

"...Now, the investigation is being treated as an assault on a federal officer, in which Ross, as opposed to Good, is seen as the victim of a crime, the sources added."
Why the nastiness? Why the cruelty? Why is there so much hatred for other people?

Good was obstructing justice resisting arrest and fled the scene using a 4000 pound car which did strike the agent. All she had to do was stop. Case law supports use of deadly force to stop her.

Look at the title of my OP. It's not WHAT they're doing (allegedly enforcing the law), it's HOW they're doing it (trampling all over the rights of American citizens first and foremost, as well as the rights of those they're targeting).

The people aren't protesting them enforcing the law, they protesting the brutality, cruelty and unconstitutionality that's involved.

God forbid anyone ever wrongly targets you or anyone you care about.

It WAS an assault on a federal officer. She drove her car into him!

She was impeding a federal law enforcement operation, in possession of a lethal weapon, and when asked to cease, she committed an assault on an officer.

The people you SHOULD be condemning on the deranged leftists committing felonies while law enforcement conducts its operation to locate and detain illegal aliens.

You really have to feel sorry for the mentally ill. Most of which seem to be on the left. We have states and cities which are protecting people who broke the law by entering into the country illegally. They are giving them rights like driver’s licenses, hand outs, the right to vote in at least some elections, all for what? Cheap labor that gets paid under the table in a lot of cases so they can keep collecting benefits.
They have stopped detaining them and notifying the federal authorities. In a lot of cases illegals are allowed to murder rape and do other acts with basically a slap on the wrist and a few hours in jail.
Then if I.C.E. even attempts to enforce the federal law and arrest and deport them the citizens step in and force confrontations with federal officers. These federal agents are screamed at, hurt, told they are Nazis and should all be killed, their families are even threatened. And people do not seem to understand why these agents sometimes have to get violent.
Obama deported more illegals than Trump. He even said that breaking apart families did not matter but there was never such an outcry against him or his policies. But the moment Trump stepped in all this has become common place.
I did not care for Obama and I do not care for Trump. I considered Biden to be the worst acting president we have ever had and Harris was just a joke.
The people wanting to go against the laws of the country need to understand that law is law. If you are a governor, a mayor or even a private citizen attempting to impede law enforcement and stepping in in favor of criminals is not a good person nor a proper citizen.
