The insidious march of normalization.

This weekend while campaigning trump made a bizarre reference to the size of Arnold Palmer's junk followed by calling Harris, in typical boorish fashion, a "shit" VP.

He said when other golfers saw Arnie in the shower they were impressed. How would he know? Or was it just a fantasy he entertains about the former golf great. Meanwhile, trump's vulgarity is becoming routine.

Both comments coming as a result of not being held to account for anything he says by the orange mushroom cult.

Ben Swann has the distinction of being a right-wing media figure who is open about a fact that others in his position have recently tended to conceal: he takes money from the Russian government in exchange for producing TV shows friendly to the Kremlin.

Swann, as I reported with TPM’s Kate Riga late last year, made a name for himself during the Obama years as a libertarian local news critic of the former President’s before veering into PizzaGate territory around the time of Trump’s election. He worked for RT, Russia’s state-owned western-facing outlet, before producing shows for the network after the invasion of Ukraine.

Federal prosecutors continue to examine RT and the extent to which it’s used as a front for Russian intelligence and propaganda operations. You can look at Tenet Media, the conservative outlet that prosecutors said was a front for a Russian propaganda operation, as an example: per a September indictment, RT funded the company to the tune of $10 million.

Would the hypothetical news cycle covering the revelation of the Chinese government paying minor liberal media outlets to spread pro-China propaganda ever end? Is there a reason to believe Faux would not be talking about it daily? For months.

The POT's candidate for the presidency schemed to steal the last election. He lies about multiple topics every day. His team recently created an ugly incident at Arlington cemetery. He put hurricane relief workers in harm's way with false accusations. After losing the debate with Harris he refused to participate in another. He has promised retribution against his political enemies and the use of the military to silence dissent.

A large portion of the voting public has become numb to such things while they are animated by Harris's laugh. This circumstance is not normal. Moreover, it's a dangerous sign something is very wrong.

Never heard of him

Never heard of him

The unnamed Tennessee-based company that the Justice Department alleges was being funded by Russian operatives working as part of a Kremlin-orchestrated influence operation targeting the 2024 US election is Tenet Media, which is linked to right-wing commentators with millions of subscribers on YouTube and other social media platforms, according to a US official briefed on the matter.

The indictment unsealed in New York’s Southern District accused two employees of RT, the Kremlin’s media arm, of funneling nearly $10 million to an unidentified company, described only as “Company 1” in court documents.

CNN has independently confirmed that “Company 1” is Tenet Media, which is a platform for independent content creators. It is self-described as a “network of heterodox commentators that focus on Western political and cultural issues,” acco
rding to its website, which matches language contained in the newly unsealed indictment.

Sooooooooooo...because you've never heard of him it's okay RT is using conservative media outlets to spread Russian propaganda?

I googled him, sounds like he worked for some local fox channels, was fired, and at one point was praised by the huffington post for his coverage of obama

As far as working for RT, I didn’t know it was a crime to work for a foreign network, if it is, then charge him

I can not thank you enough for unwittingly proving my point.

I assume you're good with this too?

Trump sides with Russia against FBI at Helsinki summit

It really is. I hope you're ready for the possibility of another 4 years of trumpery, causing unrelenting mayhem.
Oh you are a dumb ass , or you just make things up . It was never trump causing unrelenting mayhem, it was you crybabies that hate an American loving president that caused mayhem and death . Remember ?

“My dad didn’t like people who act like they’re better than other people,” Peg Palmer said. “He had no patience for people who are dishonest and cheat. My dad was disciplined. He wanted to be a good role model. He was appalled by Trump’s lack of civility and what he began to see as Trump’s lack of character.”

Peg Palmer recalls one moment when her father saw Trump on television during the 2016 presidential campaign.

"One moment stands out in my mind," she said. "My dad and I were at home in Latrobe. He died in September, so this was before the election. The television was on. Trump was talking. And my dad made a sound of disgust — like 'uck' or 'ugg' — like he couldn't believe the arrogance and crudeness of this man who was the nominee of the political party that he believed in. Then he said, 'He's not as smart as we thought he was' and walked out of the room. What would my dad think of Donald Trump today? I think he'd cringe."

what was your point? is it illegal to work for a foreign network?
Legality isn't the issue. US conservative media outlets being paid to spread Russian propaganda, and trumples not being outraged, is the issue.

15th post
Something is clearly happening with Donald Trump. Even a year ago I don’t think he would have begun a rally with 12 minutes of rambling remarks about the late golfer Arnold Palmer, concluding with a discussion of the size of Mr. Palmer’s penis.

And while you may wish you hadn’t heard about this, it matters. Trump may once again control America’s nuclear arsenal, and aside from that, his erratic behavior should be a warning to businesspeople who downplay his destructive economic agenda believing that if elected he will listen to reason and back off the worst of his proposals.

But in a fundamental sense, Trump’s most disturbing remark over the past few days may have been his unprompted comment about Abraham Lincoln during an appearance on Fox News: “Lincoln was probably a great president. Although I’ve always said, why wasn’t that settled, you know? I’m a guy that — it doesn’t make sense we had a civil war.”

His appalling ignorance of US history is excused by trumples, as are all of Don's intellectual shortcomings.
