Zone1 The Inconvenient Truth About the Democratic Party

“Fair share”? What is their fare share? Work is a commodity. If there is a surplus of labor and a scarcity of work, the cost of labor goes down. I find it amusing how frequently the dead-beats chant for a “fair-share” but also want a “fair-share” for the millions of undocumented migrants they support coming here that will work their same job for less. I don’t know if you support illegal immigration, but I suspect it’s a good bet.

I support immigration reform. My father was an immigrant, and my wife is an immigrant. We are currently in the process of changing her status from a work visa to a marriage visa. The amount of paperwork required is absurd. The amount of paperwork she had to fill out to get a work visa is absurd. Sneaking under a fence, however, is still free.

If we wanted to end illegal immigration, go after the rich white people who hire them with a fucking vengeance.

More to the point, labor shouldn't be a "commodity". Anyone who works, I don't care if it's a job flipping burgers, should make enough money to put food on the table. And before you start whining like a little bitch about "Socialism", the reality is that your attitudes are already making it inevitable. When the working poor rely on SNAP, Section 8, and Medicaid to get by in life, you are making them more loyal to the government than their employer. Then you scratch your big monkey head and wonder why all these college kids think Bernie is the bee's knees.

Holding a cardboard sign on the side of the road isn’t a business start-up. If anyone is groveling on their knees to the rich it’s those pleading for their “fair-share”. “Oh please, just give us more money, we will be best friends then.” Employment is a two way contract, you are free to walk away at any time. If you want more money, go ahead and ask your boss. But don’t pretend like you deserve any more money than you agreed to work for.

A "two-way' contract would be the working class being able to put the investor class out of business if their behavior is unacceptable. We used to have that when they paid their fair share AND we had a robust labor movement to punish the transgressors. But, of course, Conservatives managed to fuck that up, and you all wonder why those college kids love them some Bernie.

Heck, as scummy as he is, Trump has managed to tap into this working-class resentment. But there's only a limited amount of time before the working class realizes people like HIM are the problem.

Likewise, the pedophiles and baby murderers left the Republican Party and joined the Democrats.
Nobody is pro-pedophile, and the Republicans have been playing you for fools on abortion for 50 years. This is another example of using your religious and sexual fears to get you to vote against your own economic interests.

If the GOP was really interested in banning abortion, they could have gotten there in the 1980's if Reagan had appointed three pro-life justices instead of just one. He didn't. Trump blundered ass-backwards into overturning Roe, and it will cost the GOP dearly.

If we wanted to end illegal immigration, go after the rich white people who hire them with a fucking vengeance.

But that would be a racist policy that unfairly disadvantaged POC, right? Making it harder via policy for minorities to find employment is systemic racism. Wait until IM2 sees what a disparity-causing flaming-racist you are.

Yes, in the world of happy premises everyone can be rich by selling each other hamburgers. They are magic hamburgers that are both affordable and generate enough profit for a worker to buy hamburgers for their entire family. You should start a business and then give your employees the ability to determine their “fair” wage. Best of luck to your venture.

Its not the guy who owns a Burger King who controls the economy. People in the US once could support a family on just one income with just a highschool diploma. Its the value of the dollar that drives inflation. It’s been a long-game run against the American people and sleepy Joe is the current MVP.

I like how you so-mad at the guy who runs a hamburger stand for not paying his employees more but you give a pass to these bloated universities and predatory lenders that victimize “college kids”. Right, it’s not their fault they voluntarily entered these predatory agreements, it’s someone else’s responsibility to subsidize their decisions.

You are however absolutely correct about benefits creating dependency and entitlement. Which party is campaign on people all having “equitable“ outcomes regardless of their skill, effort or investment?
A "two-way' contract would be the working class being able to put the investor class out of business if their behavior is unacceptable.

They can. It’s called going on strike and voting with your dollars. Unfortunately it requires a unified population and we have been pitted against each other via partisan intersectionality. Gee, I wonder who did that?

The only time striking really works is when it’s skilled labor. An open boarder ensures there will always be a surplus of unskilled labor willing to work for less. .
Heck, as scummy as he is, Trump has managed to tap into this working-class resentment. But there's only a limited amount of time before the working class realizes people like HIM are the problem.

He also create some of the lower unemployment numbers minorities had ever seen. The working class is smarter than you give them credit for.

They just don’t call it pedophilia. But they want to have secret involvement in your child’s sexual development and sexuality. There is a reason drag queens so badly want to read to children but their philanthropy doesn’t extend to the elderly, the disabled, veterans or anyone else. It’s just children they want access to. Democrats are 100% on board with the sexualization and sexual mutilation of children.

Here’s the thing about labor being a commodity. It’s not when you work for yourself. If you work for your self, then you are not selling your labor, you are selling the end product of your labor. Maybe it is artwork, construction, expertise or dentistry. However, when you enter an agreement to work for someone else, you are now selling your labor as a commodity. You are producing for someone else, and they are selling the end product of your labor. They aren’t going to pay you more than the going rate for your labor because it’s a commodity subject to supply and demand. You can’t flip a burger so good that employers are going to compete over you.

No, it wouldn't. It would be enforcing the laws that are already on the books. The problem with the racists is they think they can solve this problem with a fence, instead of going after the source. The first time a rich asshole has to pay a huge fine for hiring illegals, is when this problem is solved.

Not at all. Paying a living wage to flip burgers doesn't increase the cost of the burger by that much. In fact, it would only increase costs by 4.3%

.

MEANWHILE companies like McDonalds tell their low-wage employees how to apply for Section 8 and Food stamps. So you are paying more for that burger whether you eat it or not.

Its not the guy who owns a Burger King who controls the economy. People in the US once could support a family on just one income with just a highschool diploma. Its the value of the dollar that drives inflation. It’s been a long-game run against the American people and sleepy Joe is the current MVP.

Well, let's look at that one. Yes, once upon a time, a guy could support a family with just a HS diploma. My dad did that. He did that by joining a union, making a decent wage, etc.

Actually, if you have been paying attention rather than shooting off your mouth, I've been VERY critical of university costs and how much tuition has increased. Now, here's the thing, back when I was in college in the 1980s, the minimum wage was $3.65 and tuition at UIC was about $1500 a year. Which meant I could pay my entire tuition simply by working 10 hours a week. (I didn't have to; I joined the National Guard, and they paid for it). Today, the minimum wage is $7.25 and tuition at UIC is $18,000. Which means someone could work 40 hours a week and not pay that.

You are however absolutely correct about benefits creating dependency and entitlement. Which party is campaign on people all having “equitable“ outcomes regardless of their skill, effort or investment?
Neither... I wish the Democrats were half as socialist as you claim they are. They are in the pockets of big business as much as the Republicans.
They can. It’s called going on strike and voting with your dollars. Unfortunately it requires a unified population and we have been pitted against each other via partisan intersectionality. Gee, I wonder who did that?
Republicans... Starting with Tricky Dick and his "Southern Strategy".
The only time striking really works is when it’s skilled labor. An open boarder ensures there will always be a surplus of unskilled labor willing to work for less. .

Only if you don't enforce labor laws. Heck, simple solution. If you think your employer is hiring illegals, call 1-800-WET-BACK, and if we catch him, you get a percentage of the confiscatory fine the government imposes on him. This is pretty much how OSHA works, and it works just fine.

He also create some of the lower unemployment numbers minorities had ever seen. The working class is smarter than you give them credit for.

Trump didn't do jack shit. He inherited a great economy from Obama and it took him 3 years to fuck it up, which he still managed to do.

OH, you need to see someone about your sexual hangups. No kid is going to see a drag queen and want to get his dick cut off. It just doesn't happen.

what will happen is MAYBE that 1% of the population that is gender fluid might realize that they aren't strange, just different. And this is what terrifies you.

You just aren’t even near the target. The laws are enforced. NAME THE LAW THAT ISNT ENFORCED.

Disparity does not equal discrimination.

Okay, here's a great example.

Stop drinking the Kool-Aid and question what you are told

“Correction: The original version of this article falsely stated that Tanya McDowell was sentenced to five years in prison solely after larceny conviction for falsifying her son's address to get him into a neighboring school district. The sentence, which came after a plea agreement, actually encompassed three crimes to which McDowell pleaded guilty: Larceny and two counts of sale of narcotics.”

The police ONLY entrapped her on the supposed "Drug" charges after they caught her on the school thing.

In short, an abuse of the system against a person of color. She wasn't selling the narcotics, she just told people who was selling that day.

Also kind of scary you consider "People Magazine" as a news source.
