The huge dockworker strike. Here's what these unskilled laborers are demanding.

Overtime should be 1.5x. Want more than 40 hours of work, then pay more. That part is very fair. We should never get rid of overtime laws. Ever.
Overtime is indeed for workers of moderate incomes. These $100,000 a year dockworkers don’t qualify.

Get rid of the overtime for dockworkers, and watch them complete their work in 40 hours.

I see your point. If they don't finish it in 40 hours it will be there next week. No bigbrush.

50k today is lower class.
Actually, it’s lower-middle. Lower class is around $30k.

But we are not talking about people earning $50k. These dockworkers currentky earn $80k - $100k and are going to go up 11% a year.

I do agree co.promise is necessary. I say let both sides come up with something that works. If 11 percent is agreed to then I have no complaints when we have upper management making millions while their floor workers work basically for no pay.

$100,000 a year is “no pay”? A kid with a high school degree could be taught the job in a matter of weeks.

Bwahahhaha

So I think I get it.

Trump lies
Vance lies

So you retards think you can lie just as easily

DeSantis promised to send in the National Guard to keep the Florida ports open.
Shortly after that the strike ended.

Bullshit you idiot. The biggest ports with the most dockworkers are NOT in Florida but in the upper northeast

DeSantis had nothing to do with this.

And oh yeah. He had no authority to do that anyway and no one believed he did

Management offered $50 /hour over six years and the union demanded $75.

They settled on $62.

It was a negotiation

They didn't settle on $62.00

You are as stupid as Surada

The rest is just stupid opinion.

They agreed in principle yes retard. They’re still negotiating the automation question
