He started one just for me! I must've really gotten under his skin! Of course I read his lame attempt at ridicule.

Only your post was worthy of a response.

I have spoken with him on several occasions. Not one conversation ended without his phony facade crumbling and him running away like a coward with a severe case of butt hurt. Thats why he started this thread. He doesn't have the stones to face me because as he already knows that I don't give a shit and will rip him a new one.

In a vision of Zechariah God uses two staves to lead the flock. Hobelim is the name given to the second staff.


the name Hobelim has the same meaning [viz., destroying] as the root ḥabal has in Meḥabbelim keramim, “destroying vineyards” (Song of Sol. 2:15). But the prophet found also in this name Ḥobelim the indication that the people despised God, and that God despised them. Maimonides, Guide for the perplexed, part 2 43:5
