I didn't know what to title this. I was hesitant to title it Christian music, because although I'll mostly be sharing Christian songs, there are beautiful songs that are not Christian but are divine and 'anointed,' for lack of a better word. Anyway, even if you're not a believer, I hope you take a listen to some of these... especially if all the difficult and crazy stuff going on in this world is weighing you down. These will be songs of hope, peace, joy and love. :thewave:

I love this version of this song with the different languages. :huddle:

Deep Peace
(A Gaelic Blessing)
by John Rutter and the Cambridge Singers

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you.
Deep peace of Christ,
of Christ the light of the world to you.
Deep peace of Christ to you.

Thanks for sharing that, beautress. Beautiful lyrics and music.

I love this song especially this version...

Man I just got chills watching it again

I haven't heard this song in a long time. I love the part where she starts belting it out, around the middle of the song.

Gah! Best I could find in 5 minutes. Some people butcher stuff, this guy does it right, but it's just 1 guy.

He's pretty good! Thanks MM.

My favorite instrument is the piano. I like this song, because of the meaning behind it...which in my opinion is more timely than ever…

Thank you Compost! Amazing Grace is my favorite song of all time. It's hard to find the best version, but this one is really good… especially for a cappella!
