This country is divided into these 4 groups.

The haves nots are embracing Socialism and want what others have.

The haves are trying to hang on to every last dollar. They do not want taxes raised, they do not want property values to fall. The super rich haves are embracing data centers because that means they can eliminate jobs and have a police state where everyone is being watched.

The middle class is caught in the middle, no pun intended, and is screwed. They are outvoted by the have nots, and every life expense is higher than it used to be.

The politicians are for sale to the highest bidder. Guess who that is.

End of summary.

It's funny how the "have nots" push for socialism and state control of everything, and when the state does control everything they still remain as "have nots." Except for the fact that they then "have even less" because the state is horribly inefficient and corrupt and its economy eventually collapses. Of course the few countries that have valuable natural resources can deliver a modest socialism, but then the state politicians get almost all the riches and the "have nots" live under even more extreme wealth disparity. But for some reason the "have nots" always think this time will be different, even when it is crystal clear the politicians pushing for socialism are lying thieving scumbags. The only class to benefit in socialism, or communism, is the political class.

Poorly educated people cannot look beyond the sales pitch. Take covid, for instance. The powers that be and especially the Democrat party claim they are shutting down small business for one purpose, but it was actually calculated to serve another. The absolutely massive transfer of wealth from the middle class to the elites during covid SHOULD give any thinking person a clue, but most people do not actually think. They just parrot.
