No, Superbad stated the truth. You think it's hard work, but you more than likely got your start with a job you were hired for because you are white. Somewhere along the line yu got boosted only because of your race. You guys go through life ignoring the preference you get and think you have earned everything due to hard work and merit. You probably have worked in mostly white businesses and never questioned why. But I bet you are going to tell me how you worked with that one black person who could not do the job, stole something, or misbehaved.No. That’s why I work hard.
We have to work twice as hard as you guys, often for half f the gains. I had to help a friend start a business from the ground up, working at a fast food joint at night to help buy office supplie in order to use the skills I went into debt going to college to get because whites were refusiing to hire me, even though during my college years I was working a job in my major, advancing up on that job past the entry level with a colege degree. I would apply for jobs asking for 2 years of experience when I had 5 and still could not get hired. And don't try making that claim about my attitude, because that wasn't it.
