My school was overwhelmingly white before busing. The first things that happened after desegregation were the creation of a black student union and black studies curriculum.

And why was that? Maybe because whites there like you refused to accept them being there. But being disingenuous is all part of white racism.

Our basketball team improved.
Now my school is almost exclusively highspanic. No football team for two years running though the enrollment is at 3000 with 55% boys.

That is what I don’t get. There seems to be a push for Blacks and other groups wanting their own schools But the moment a trend pops up and certain schools are being dominated by white kids, everyone freaks out. It has gotten so bad in some spots that the radicals want to Reverse Bus whereby students in wealthy areas would need to be bused to schools in poorer parts of town. A group I’ve seen fight the fiercest on the issue is not the predictable whites but the Asians.

Asians argue they worked their asses off to afford homes with high real estate value, low crime, and good schools. Are they wrong?

But then we can look at single parent households.

Black people are more likely to be in poverty, more likely to have a single parent family.

Persons in poor households had a higher rate of violence involving a firearm (3.5 per 1,000) compared to persons above the FPL (0.8-2.5 per 1,000).

The overall pattern of poor persons having the highest rates of violent victimization was consistent for both whites and blacks. However, the rate of violent victimization for Hispanics did not vary across poverty levels.

In low-wage paying occupations, Black men are paid 87 cents for every dollar a white man makes, and black women sixty-three cents. In high-paying occupations, black men earn ninety-seven cents for every dollar a white man makes, and black women 64 cents. A black married couple will earn less than a white couple even when all other factors are the same.

So, a black man sitting in the house does not do anything to change the economic disparities created by the racist attitude that has whites paying blacks less for doing the same work.

This of course is a lie. The DOJ is following its constitutional mandate ensuring minority students have access to the same quality of education as white students.

These cases remain necessary because Republicans continue to seek to disadvantage minority students.

I think black parents should homeschool their kids. Give them a much HIGHER education than they can get from the "white devils." It's not like they'd miss work or anything and many of them are at home on school days anyway. Win, win, win.
