The surrender of the United States to China in green energy technology has allowed it to prosper and extend its influence globally. Scientific ignorance in the U.S. has rendered it non-competitive.

China’s green energy exports in 2026 are dominated by “The New Three”: electric vehicles (EVs), lithium-ion batteries, and solar products, which have collectively grown by nearly 22% in the first two months of the year alone. Beyond products, China is exporting entire energy ecosystems, including AI-driven smart grids and integrated energy hubs, particularly in Central Asia, Africa, and South America. These projects not only supply electricity but also train local technicians, creating sustainable local industries.

Chinese firms are constructing large-scale renewable energy projects abroad, such as a 500MW wind farm in sub-Saharan Africa, which combines local labor with Chinese engineering expertise. In Europe, Chinese wind companies are investing in local production, exemplified by MingYang’s £1.5 billion investment in Scotland, signaling a strategy to enter European markets while mitigating supply chain risks.
