The great food/health irony.

Sure because they are the ones that spend more on food. You just reversed your position by the way.

Perhaps you should revisit your OP: "The more one spends on food the less likely that one has a healthy diet."
:p

The more one spends on food the more likely they are to be overweight.
SNAP recipients spent way too much on food. If they spent and ate less they would be healthier.

Sodium. Fries are awful, like toxic awful. Why arent most parents teaching their kids healthy eating rather than a constant drive thru?

We simply never eat fast food. We get a free range chemical free half a cow every 2 years from a farmer 10 miles away. My son still plants our garden. He then takes what he needs. They make small garden olanters for patios now. People can grow many a veggie. We need a national shift about healthy eating.

SNAP recipients have a lot of mouths to feed if that is the primary source of their food budget. $3.00 per meal is nothing.

What could you possible feed a young child that would cost $3/meal? I'm a working man and my breakfast only costs about a dollar. I only eat two meals a day so I would have about $7 to spend on supper. If I skimped on supper I could go out for steak once a month.
