Zone1 The Great Difficulty Of Being Religious.....

Seems difficult for you to answer a direct queston.

"Tithing and sacrifices are a form of "redistribution of wealth".

So that is what you favor?

Here's another one: who'd you vote for?

Do you have a case of the hiccups? You asked me the same question twice. ;)

Did I not answer your initial question in detail? .

I will give you a simple answer. I favor both free will and helping one another - for the betterment of mankind - both physically and spiritually.

Matthew 5:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them."

I'll leave you with this:

They say that if you give a man a fish, he will eat for one day. If you teach a man to fish, he will eat for a lifetime. And that is true.

That said - you must feed the man a fish, until he learns how to fish, or else he will surely die.

Cancer death rates are way down from just a few decades ago thanks to new medical treatments. However, the causes of cancer have not been addressed, so the disease is still a juicy plum for the medical industry (healthcare is a misnomer).
I know a lot about chemo. At least three brands of it.

Definitely not plum juice. But, amazing stuff we would not have if we just relied on faith and divine intervention.

If we had stayed on plum juice, the cancer rates would still be negligible.

Give a man a Bible and he'll read for a night (until he gets bored and puts it away). Teach a man to think and he won't need that Bible no more.

"I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet."
- The all-loving and toootally un-misogynistic Bible.

Isn't that convenient, from the cult that claims to be all for "women's rights", but can't define "woman" and refuses to protect women from the men who want to beat them and steal their glory.

Yes. Postmodernism shares a lot with religion. Primarily disregard of reality leaving them incapable to define anything.

That kind of sentiment never ceases to amaze me. How do you think they passed down knowledge, wisdom, history, etc. 6000 years ago?
Thru education.

We love doctors. Luke was the "beloved physician". Sadly, doctors today are mainly interested in money.

I disagree. Doctors and nurses care a lot about their patients.
Of course, but they are driven by the need of their clinics and hospitals for revenue, causing them to rob every patient (their insurance company) that comes through the door.
