Get ready to add another stressor to your Thanksgiving holiday this year. The Farm Bureau reports that the cost of a Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people is up 14% over last year, averaging at $53.31.

Its all the good stuff that accompanying it.

Turkeys are available....if you don't mind hunting it down and butchering it yourself... including plucking it.

The processing facilities are backed up tremendously...feedlots are overstocked because they can't get the cattle to the butcher. The butcher's are extremely backed up. They are going as fast as they can at ⅓ staff.

Yup yup.
If you want a bird you can get one.
Course you'll have to cut back on everything else to get one....but one will be available.

So what they are saying is that there really are no shortages unlike what was claimed.

Oh it was 1.39 a pound and 1.50 in 2017.

Its just how dumb can you be?
The current price ranges from $2.59 - $3.99 per pound.
So basically....they have turkeys....but they cost 150% more.

“The turkey price in 2021 is starkly higher compared to prior years,” Wells Fargo analysts wrote. “Late September turkey prices this year are running nearly 25% more than the prior year, and nearly 50% higher than a prior five-year average.
“In other words, a whole turkey for this holiday season is going to cost you nearly double what it did just a couple of years ago.”

If Sleepy Joe hadn't been so irresponsible and pardoned turkeys this years, the supply would be higher and the price lower. Simple Economics.

Sure, the turkeys being pardoned are cool with it. But is it really worthwhile if old ladies who can't afford a turkey are forced to eat cat food tomorrow because of Biden Based Inflation?

Cat food is too expensive.

I can afford a turkey, and I still make any old ladies at the table eat cat food.

At least hot dogs were down .16 cents this year.

It would be a lot easier for Joe Biden to shove some hot dogs up his ass than it would a turkey.
