The Good Narrative Sure Has Shifted in the Last Three Days

The facts are clear. She was shot by a pissed off officer that put 3 bullets in her. Including the kill shot into the side of her head from point blank range safely away from the car.

Those aren't even photos of the right guy, Moron. That is the guy who was directing the woman to step out of the vehicle. The officer who fired in self defense was behind him, out in the middle of the street, he had come up the street from the other side and for about 2-3 seconds had to cross on the edge of her path to be able to support the first guy.

Lucky for him he was far enough to the driver side and didn't fall on the ice that he was able to avoid being run over.

This is what happens when you chase after special police squads there to deal with the worse of the worst doing threatening things to them over and over for hours on end then finally make a threatening move with a 4000 pound deadly weapon.

You can kill more people with an SUV in two seconds than with a fully-auto Kalashnikov just by driving through a crowd on a street.

ICE agents should be trained properly. You don't stand in front of a car when dealing with someone. If they drive off, especially when you don't suspect them of doing much wrong, then you let them go.

These problems are not new, these kind of things have been happening for a long time, civil rights, rioting in the 1980s, and onwards.

The solutions aren't difficult.

The people with the power don't want solutions. They like the people fighting it out, they like manipulating people "look, that person's trying to do this to you, fight them" "look, that person's fighting you, fight back"

My take on this is this: Even if she didn't intend to hit the officer and even if the vehicle had not touched him at all, this incident did not happen in a vacuum. Meaning, people have been threatening and doxxing ICE officers from the beginning and the attack on the National Guardsmen proves that violence was never off the table.

Therefore, with their lives and families already being threatened, if a driver - after being asked to get out of the vehicle - suddenly hits the gas and lurches the vehicle in the general direction of the officer in an attempt to escape, they're going to assume in the heat of the moment that the driver intends harm and they will shoot.

This incident was tragic and unnecessary. But given the hate and violent narrative of those opposing ICE and the violence that has already happened, something like this was inevitable, even if the victim intended no harm.
