By the end of war in November 1918.
More than three million soldiers had died there.
Often while fighting to gain only a few hundred meters of
ground.
Almost 17 million people lost their lives in the
First World War.
So why was it called :
All Quiet On The Western Front

Let me take a wild guess. That Snappy Tom Lunchpail Joe
can explain it.Like the guy can barely choose which hand
to use when picking his nose.
Got how Politics works ... Not Today ... but right now.

Probably because most of the time there wasn't much happening. They'd arrange huge attacks and prepare them, but outside of these times nothing happened.

The same could apply to both The Korean War and Vietnam.
