Look at why there is hardly and crime in Tokyo and Seoul. That's because people there shared the same views on social issues. I cannot phantom why people would oppose that. Look at the SF Bay area. You may have heard the bay area always glorifies itself as diversity and inclusion. However, where people choose to live is a complete different story. Even Newsom ran away from the diversity he championed. He lives in a nearly all white city call Kentfield with 80% whites, 9% Hispanics, and 5% Asians. Blacks made up of less than 1%.

All this did was push republicans further away from democrats. No one wants to try and engage in conversation or work with someone who seemingly hates you and wants you dead. I've seen multiple people cheering Kirk's death and celebrating over it. Several of them have even lost their jobs as a result.
