The best thing that can happen is to dissolve the United States and each state becomes its own nation. We can ally and work with each other as the United Nations of America but the divide is just to wide at this point. That requires a lot of talk and working with one another though so that isn't going to happen.

The rising up of the working class can result in other outcomes other than Civil war. If it results in a fascist regime, as has been true in most cases of the working class being left out then civil war is very unlikely. The regime's task is to unite the people under a common cause.

Communism is well established to be the enemy in most cases in history.
