This is bad news for musk. Its a shame that there wont be one platform any more but I dont think it brought about better peace and understanding at all. I dont think humans are ready for that.

I bookmarked it a few days ago and may investigate using it. Mastadon was a bust as a competitor. It was like a blockchain network of networks. Too confusing.

It's called Freedom of Expression under Article 10 of the Human Rights Act. It's similar to Yanky Free Speech but you have to be responsible, so Yanks will just fall foul of slander and libel laws if they lived outside of the US. Shite Speech works well in the US, not so much in Europe etc..

As an example, I've read some articles about some of the pro-palestine rallies that recently occurred, and individuals were getting arrested for saying 'offensive' things on social media about the disturbance.
