Ok, I don't expect idiots like you to understand our laws.

Yes, we do have the "castle doctrine" in many states, this one included. However, there are exceptions to the "stand your ground" law and that is ALWAYS if you are doing something illegal. What does that mean? If someone walks by your front window and can see you raping a child inside the house and they break in to save the child, you can't claim "stand your ground" and shoot them. You were committing a crime at the time which means you have NO rights at that point.

In order for stand your ground and castle doctrine to be in effect, you MUST have a right to be where you are and a right to do what you are doing. If EITHER of those is not met, then NEITHER stand your ground or castle doctrine play any role in the outcome of your case.

So if you're running a drug house and the cops show up, you can't start blasting away claiming "castle doctrine." Your castle is a drug house and that is illegal so you have NO right to use deadly force against anyone who comes to stop it.
