Let's get some things clear about "election fraud."

• The President is not precise in his use of words. When he calls something "fraud" he is stating that it is improper or illegal. The distinction between actual fraud and other election improprieties is lost on President Trump. In Trump's mind, the voting rules shenanigans in Pennsylvania were "fraud."
• The definitive fact about 2020 fraud is this: There was fraud, but probably not enough provable fraud to have determined the outcome of the election. For example, there is no question that some of the Leftist operatives paid for by Zuckerberg filled out ballots for voters in ghettos, nursing homes, and probably homeless encampments. That is fraud. It certainly happened thousands of times but is not provable, and not enough to impact the result of the election.
• The President was always operating and speaking after having conferred with both attorneys and political advisors. This alone removes his culpability.
• Politicians routinely lie ("If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor..." and so on), and are never legally prosecuted for it. At the time in question, the Mr. Trump WAS A SITTING PRESIDENT. End of story. The only remedy is impeachment, conviction, and removal from office.
• Every statement at issue is protected by the First Amendment. Just like Schiff's constant lies about "Russia collusion."

Present this to the Court.

After the laughing stops, Your Honor will order that you are escorted from the building with instructions to never enter again unless summoned.

I remember the attempts by the left (and Democrats) to prevent Trump electors from voting for Trump.
Democrats attempted to return the election back to the states because Democrats claimed that the electors were not lawfully certified by the states.

I might add that Biden shot down every challenge to trump's victory and finally curtly said, "It is Over."

That is Joe Biden, the man that trump says is an illegitimate President. Biden is the man that shot down any objection to trump becoming the 45the president of the United States. trump is a vile human being.

I think one of the reasons that trump apologist are having such a hard time coming to terms with the fact that trump could be a felon soon, is the time that has passed since the crimes and the charges. In the legal world, the time period between crimes and charges do not matter, except in the case of statues of limitations. But in the political world, time lapses do matter.

The sick feeling in the pit of our stomachs that we felt watching the MAGA mob attack has long ago left us. The outrage that many of us felt because of the damage the attack inflicted on the Capitol, our county, and this democracy has mellowed. Justice often moves at a snails pace, but it does move. MAGA needs to come to grips with the facts outlined in each of the indictments trump faces.

So you switch goalposts.
You said that Trump asked Pence to delay the certification.
That has nothing to do with violence.
The insurrection was fake anyway.
Never mind the fact that Trump isn't being charged with insurrection.
Go back and read the 4 counts listed in the indictment.
None of them has to do with insurrection.

I think the evidence in both the documents case and in the J6 case are overwhelming. And I just do not see a reasonable line of defense in either, except, he was the president and should not be prosecuted. That won't fly in court.
