How has Hillary Clinton prepared herself to become the Democratic nominee for President? She hasn't held an executive office, nor has she entered the diplomatic service. She has only one and a third Senate terms for experience. However, she has nurtured a network of supporters and contributors, and as the Los Angeles Times reports, Hillary has used her Senate power to keep them enriched:

She doesn't NEED to "prepare" herself. The MSM has been preparing her for the last 2 years.

The MSM has been greatly supportive of her candidacy; but Hillary has been preparing herself for a run for the presidency long before Bill was elected in 1992. When Bill's second term began, she had decided that she needed to run for the Senate to have a base from which to launch her presidential candidacy, and she had decided on Moynihan's seat as the one that would fit her need exactly. Their plan has always been that Bill would run for president first and serve 8 years, and then Hillary would run and serve another 8 years. The plan has run pretty well up to this point. We'll see if they can pull it off.
