The dichotomy that is Trump

This ongoing DOGE/Tariff fiasco that we're living through provides a perfect example of the chaos Trump brings as he tries to improve things.

"We need to streamline government, cut some costs and make it more efficient".
Well hallelujah. Absolutely. Finally. Here's our chance. No doubt there's a shitload of waste in our federal spending and it's past fucking time that we identify it. Fraud and abuse? Certainly. So let's do a careful, standardized audit, analyze the results, make a solid plan, execute the plan, monitor the results, tweak as needed.

What happens? Elon Musk and his crew are unleashed, Elon is waving around a fucking chainsaw on a stage, he's firing people all over the place, having to re-hire some of them back, making huge cuts in important services without always knowing how that service even fucking WORKS, and total chaos ensues.

"We need to make our trade agreements more reasonable and fair to America".
Fantastic. No shit. We should ALWAYS review our trade agreements and global trade tactics to confirm that tariffs are used as they should be -- to mitigate dangerous trade imbalances that can cause significant harm to the economies of key countries around the world, avoiding a domino effect globally.

What happens? We COMPLETELY over-correct, not only throwing global markets into a fucking tizzy, not only DESTROYING valued partnerships and relationships around the world with threats and intimidation, but the resulting chaos causes our most important security -- Treasuries -- to collapse and damn near bring the global fixed income market crashing down with them.

Does anyone sense a trend?

Trump sees a problem and doesn't understand that America isn't a small, family-operated business that he can twist and turn on a whim. What America does has global ramifications that can come back and bite us square in the ass, and he clearly doesn't understand that. His erratic actions threaten to make a bigger problem than the problem he is trying to solve.

Investing legend Ray Dalio put it best: "I agree with the problem. I am very concerned about the solution."

Try to do what?
We learned that Progressives have no answers. None. Just extreme agendas. The tax the rich mantra is old. Since you have had power to tax rich individuals and corporations 90% and have not. You forgot the lower classes and play games within all their groups like paying off college loans while people suffered through the inflation.

And the people that the current volatility is hitting ARE the rich, at least at the moment....Hell, Tariffs are a democrat agenda, they have been historically for decades.

So, like all Dims you have zero ideas to address any of the problems listed. And like all Dims you cannot actually argue with any of the goals because they make perfect sense. So, like all Dims you argue with process, because that all you got. Sad Mac & Cheese. Sad. :(

When the Dims come up with their own ideas I will listen. But we all know you and your team got nothing.

Democrats created the massive problems that Americans get to pay for. Trump is flipping it to Democrats will pay for the problems and man are they upset.

Yeah, everything bad is the other tribe's fault.

Thank goodness for your tribe. Your tribe didn't do nuffin'.

My tribe is responsible for restoring President Trump. Ripped up your tribe fairly easily.

Standard MAGA all-or-nothing thinking.

Boring.
Nothing wrong with trying to fix some thing, Problem is taking the time energy & getting the right people in place.
Not to do what is best for ONE segment of the population, But to BALANCE how we run America, in the better interest of the whole population. That was the point of different political party's
Both majors party's are a mess.

Have you lost the conversation already? Try to work with Trump.

Or maybe just throw out one liners…
I have more one liners stored up.

I cannot work with trump, and refuse to even try. I don't see how you can even keep up with him, constantly changing his mind.

I'm homegrown.

What fiasco? Can you name an actual fiasco?

I have more one liners stored up.
I have no doubt…
I cannot work with trump, and refuse to even try. I don't see how you can even keep up with him, constantly changing his mind.
Isn’t that a good thing, to be flexible? And, obviously I don’t mean you personally, unless you’re telling me that you’re a part of dem leadership, or still not being serious…
I'm homegrown.
Like Steely Dan sang about, I prefer fine Colombian.

If Dalio thinks he has a better solution then he should call the President and offer to work with him. Think he’d do that?
Because felon 47 only listens to people who echo his own stupidity, that's why.

Must you lie all the time?
Who around Trump tells him he's full of shit? No one. That's why psychotic47 only hires people who kiss his ass without question.
