The dichotomy that is Trump

If Dalio thinks he has a better solution then he should call the President and offer to work with him. Think he’d do that?

Why would anyone bother? Trump doesn't work with people. He has people work FOR him. He doesn't listen to anyone.

Trump is still trying to deal with problems from the 1980's.
I do…

I think dems could work with Trump if they’d drop the pretense of their all or nothing attitudes

Nobody can work with Trump. He doesn't work well with others. He doesn't listen and he's always right.

This is why he's gone bankrupt 6 times. He has no clue what he's doing, no plan, and he just makes shit up as he goes along, and fires anyone who disagrees with him.

This ongoing DOGE/Tariff fiasco that we're living through provides a perfect example of the chaos Trump brings as he tries to improve things.

"We need to streamline government, cut some costs and make it more efficient".
Well hallelujah. Absolutely. Finally. Here's our chance. No doubt there's a shitload of waste in our federal spending and it's past fucking time that we identify it. Fraud and abuse? Certainly. So let's do a careful, standardized audit, analyze the results, make a solid plan, execute the plan, monitor the results, tweak as needed.

What happens? Elon Musk and his crew are unleashed, Elon is waving around a fucking chainsaw on a stage, he's firing people all over the place, having to re-hire some of them back, making huge cuts in important services without always knowing how that service even fucking WORKS, and total chaos ensues.

"We need to make our trade agreements more reasonable and fair to America".
Fantastic. No shit. We should ALWAYS review our trade agreements and global trade tactics to confirm that tariffs are used as they should be -- to mitigate dangerous trade imbalances that can cause significant harm to the economies of key countries around the world, avoiding a domino effect globally.

What happens? We COMPLETELY over-correct, not only throwing global markets into a fucking tizzy, not only DESTROYING valued partnerships and relationships around the world with threats and intimidation, but the resulting chaos causes our most important security -- Treasuries -- to collapse and damn near bring the global fixed income market crashing down with them.

Does anyone sense a trend?

Trump sees a problem and doesn't understand that America isn't a small, family-operated business that he can twist and turn on a whim. What America does has global ramifications that can come back and bite us square in the ass, and he clearly doesn't understand that. His erratic actions threaten to make a bigger problem than the problem he is trying to solve.

Investing legend Ray Dalio put it best: "I agree with the problem. I am very concerned about the solution."

Oh look Mac is trying to use big words now while spewing the same old debunked shit about Trump. Swing and a miss fool. Since you are a clueless Dem sheeple I'll explain to you what's happening...

Now that Trump has defeated our enemies at home (the Democrats) like a warrior he's taking on our enemies abroad who are stealing our jobs, industries, IP, hacking us, flooding our country with drugs and filthy POS criminal illegals. The White House has never seen a warrior of Trump's caliber.

So all you Dem sheeple just curl into a ball and hide under your bed covers for the next 4 years while we clean up your giant mess!

The difference between you people and Trump is you both agree there’s a problem but Trump actually does something about it. You on the other hand just bitch about what he does because the solution to you is do nothing. Be honest, the actions you want him to take are none at all.

Standard MAGA all-or-nothing thinking.

Boring.

Refute it then
Trump just made Mac's case in terms of Trump . lol But i'm not sure Trump presents a dichotomy. Rather, both maga and the gop senate leadership (who may have given maga their balls) are all for increasing deficits. Yet the debt and costs of the deficits caused Trump to blink on tariffs.

And the dollar took a hit from rival currencies. If the dollar ceases to be the reserve currency we will be in for .... rising costs for US consumers and declining prices for anything we still sell.

The dichotomy is on the left especially the TDS left. Americans lived through the Biden/Fauci fascist regime, the negligence of Biden/Kamala open borders with little complaint but TDs democrats are hysterical about the DOGE committee saving billions.

Biden's done, Trump's at bat and so far he sucks.

Why talk sense into trump when he'll just flip-flop on it the next day?
