If anyone said that to you, then you have every right to be pissed about it. And frankly, there are many people who have screwed with others and are now lying low. Many, if older are collecting their pensions and social security and living well. Never taken to task for what they did to others. Affecting them and their families. To me this is a weakness of a voting bloc. About the founders, there was never going to be the Constitution otherwise. Most of the slavery did not go to what is the continental United States. When I was growing up in the 80s white people would wave their Confederate flag around and be happy to tell me that this country wasn't for me, that it was for white people.
