Funny, I just finished reading the TIPP report and didn't see a single thing in there about the Democrats doing a Coup. If you are interested (for those that can read and care about facts) there is a link to the document they produced about their study. You will notice it was an academic study only. One that looked at the possibilities. And at no place did it suggest that the Biden camp was to break any laws. But it not only suggested that Rump's camp will break laws, it was already doing so. It was about what can be done to combat this. It also goes on to say that this is NOT a normal Presidential Election and probably won't have a normal transition. It's about an individual that will attempt to stay in power through any means possible. This is what these rtwingnutcase fruitcakes are saying that will drive the Left into a Civil War when it actually is just a study in combating the illegal and immoral activities of Rump.

If you had ever been to Fayetteville, you would understand that it was a treat to be sent to DC. It was a paid vacation through the back door like hundreds of vacations I took while in the Military. Hello? If there is not a legally and constitutionally picked President by January 20th, then Constitutionally, the new speaker of the House, elected on January 6th, holds the seat, until a President is picked, by Congress....

As if 2020 were not insane enough already, we now have Democrats and their ruling class masters openly talking about staging a coup. You might have missed it, what with the riots, lockdowns and other daily mayhem we’re forced to endure in this, the most wretched year of my lifetime. But it’s happening.


It started with the military brass quietly indicating that the troops should not follow a presidential order. They were bolstered by many former generals—including President Trump’s own first Secretary of Defense—who stated openly what the brass would only hint at. Then, as nationwide riots really got rolling in early June, the sitting Secretary of Defense himself all but publicly told the president not to invoke the Insurrection Act. His implicit message was: “Mr. President, don’t tell us to do that, because we won’t, and you know what happens after that.”


All this enthused Joe Biden, who threw subtlety to the winds. The former United States Senator (for 26 years) and Vice President (for eight) has not once, not twice, but thrice confidently asserted that the military will “escort [Trump] from the White House with great dispatch” should the president refuse to leave. Another former Vice President, Al Gore, publicly agreed.


One might dismiss such comments as the ravings of a dementia patient and a has-been who never got over his own electoral loss. But before you do, consider also this. Over the summer a story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which 100 Democratic grandees, anti-Trump former Republicans, and other ruling class apparatchiks got together (on George Soros’s dime) to “game out” various outcomes of the 2020 election. One such outcome was a clear Trump win. In that eventuality, former Bill Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta, playing Biden, refused to concede, pressured states that Trump won to send Democrats to the formal Electoral College vote, and trusted that the military would take care of the rest.

First, the simulation study/exercise that was done by Rosa Brooks, was a UNIVERSITY funded study, not your boogeyman Soros!

Trump, in real life, right now, is working with State legislatures in Republican and battle ground states, to USURP the votes of the State citizens, and send Trump electors to the electoral college..... TRUMP is doing that, not Biden as you say the simulation said.

Third, the posse comitatus act, prevents the Military from acting as domestic law enforcement, Trump sending them in to do such, would be an ILLEGAL order, unless it were a true insurrection, which protesting and even rioting, is not....rioting is a domestic crime, not a war crime or takeover of our Government!

Fourth, president Trump's term, ENDS on January 20, 2021. Whether he loses or wins, his first term ends on that date. There is no exception to this rule, it's sealed in our Constitution, as a 4 year term only.

If president Trump does not win, or a winner is not chosen yet, due to complications or delays of any sort, he is no longer President, as of Jan 20th, 2021....And if he refuses to leave his seat and the Whitehouse, our Military WILL ESCORT him off of the property...And since Trump is no longer President, the Military, no longer answers to him, because as of Jan 20th, he is no longer CIC.

Hello? If there is not a legally and constitutionally picked President by January 20th, then Constitutionally, the new speaker of the House, elected on January 6th, holds the seat, until a President is picked, by Congress....

The military brass and our national-security team must have a good handle on trump's questionable mental state by this time. I would trust their judgment as to what weight should be given to an order issued by a guy who clearly is out of control and tries to misuse the military for his own political purposes.

He already tried that. Rump ordered the 82nd to DC for policing the streets. The 82nd went as far as the law allowed and did deploy to DC. When they got there, they played a lot of poker and double handed Pinnocle. The Joint Chiefs wouldn't allow them to participate any further. At some point, the Joint Chiefs just sent them back the North Carolina.

What Rump doesn't understand is, He's in exactly the same situtation with the Military that Nixon was 3 days before he resigned.

Yeah, I'm glad that the Joint Chiefs didn't allow things to get out of hand. I was totally outraged by the whole thing. trump had some nerve. Posse Comitatus is there for a reason. If I were a member of the 82nd, I would have been pissed.

I would have been outraged if I lived anywhere else in the U.S., but it was somewhat more personal for me because I used to work at 17th and Penn, eat lunch in the park, and pop into St. John's occasionally, and it was like trump shit all over "my" town. They should have taken him down to that bunker under the WH and just locked him in for good.

Ah. Memories of Nixon. I was in the university coffee house when word spread of the Saturday Night Massacre. And we thought that times were bad then.

If you had ever been to Fayetteville, you would understand that it was a treat to be sent to DC. It was a paid vacation through the back door like hundreds of vacations I took while in the Military. I saw the World from that back door. And to be sent to the Nations Capital at that. I doubt that too many in the 82nd were unhappy being sent there to do nothing except catch all the sites.

Well then, welcome. You must have seen some pretty wonderful things in your life. It's too bad that this incident occurred during the pandemic because I've got a whole list of good restaurants and bars. One good thing about being around DC. You can eat in at least 20 languages, and I know where the restrooms are in the Smithsonian and the memorials, I can tell which streets are one-way. I've never been to Fayetteville, and I've been to some really interesting places. I hope the 82nd got to see the good stuff, and at least they weren't wearing T-shirts and plaid shorts Oh, the sights you see around here when the touristas converge in the summer.
