This article details the current petroleum energy situation, and it makes Trump's "Drill, baby, drill!" strategy look pretty freakin' good.

Who knew China was so vulnerable to things that occur in the Middle East? I never gave it a thought.

The Chinese have the good sense to realize a war with Iran is pretty stupid.

Hey, Gasoline this week near me went up from $2.97 a gallon to $3.79. The kicker was that on Thursday, it was $3.59, Friday morning, it was $3.69, and by last night, it was $3.79. I can't wait to see what it is this morning.

It jumped up 78 cents a gallon here in just a couple of days.

I can't recall ever seeing it jump that high that fast.

Always resources........~S~

I don't see any problem here for China, Spark! No oil, no problem. This is merely a perfect opportunity for China to go green and prove that green energy really works.
  1. Replace all oil-based products for food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing with bio-seaweed based manufacturing.
  2. Turn mountains of plastic refuse floating in the China Sea back into recycled polymer for industry.
  3. Build a few windmills and solar farms and BAM, they are there.
Oil schmoil, who needs oil. :smoke:
