Eisenhower had a heart attack in 1955, and was hospitalized for 6 weeks while Nixon, Dulles and Sherman Adams took day-to-day duties. Ike recovered sufficiently to win and serve a second term.

they should have invoked the 25th amendment!

Here's the thing, Biden is Prez and he would be replaced by a Dem. The man is dangerous and has to be replaced.

What happens if the president can't work?

You'd think we'd already know that by now with a president who hasn't worked in 22 months taking more vacations than any other president in history.

Kamala is worse than a comatose Biden.
Best bet is to just wait for 2024, and elect a real president.

Or we can eliminate the Imperial Presidency, which is an aberration; it was the Framers’ intent that the executive branch be co-equal to the other two branches, not have the unwarranted and excessive powers it does now.
The three branches as I understand them are:
1. Executive
2. Judicial (USSC)
3. Congress (The House and Senate together, not individually.)

Congress controls the purse, The senate can impeach the president. The USSC's word is final, disobey and get impeached.
