This will be a 2-part OP. This first part explains what is meant by the title, in which Jews are subjected to blatant antisemitism and then the antisemites “police” how the Jew responds to the hate by mocking or denying the antisemitism itself.

Following are some examples of anti-Jew hate crimes I have personally suffered, and which I have referred to on this site:

1) Not being invited to a classmate’s 16th birthday party because her father did not allow Jews in their house - which she shared with me.

2) Having the word J - E - W keyed across my family’s brand-new car.

3) Having two Catholic School boys trespass into my house on a Friday night when I was 13 and home alone, blow out the Shabbos candles, and say “this is what we think of your fuckin’ religion.”

The reaction by antisemites on this forum has been the “rebuke the Jew for bleeding too visibly.” They have said that I’ve lied, made up fairy tales, called me horrible names, switched it around to call me a racist, mock, taunt, bait, ad infinitum.

This is what I will continue to fight. We cannot let antisemites continue to spread their hate of Jews by letting them silence us via their “rebukes” when we point it out.

I will say this, the current Israeli government is unpopular even as I watch Israeli influencers across the political sphere, most well spoken and thoughtful regardless of political leanings.

I will also say, I wonder how Israel and the M.E would look today if Rabin had not been assassinated. He loved his country and the spirit of Judaism (though he was generally secular) and firmly trusted his people (an IDF hero and even imprisoned by the British). The JFK of Israel in many respects and I believe Judaism would be more prominent today if he had lived but it is debatable of course.

Hatred is impossible to defeat, only education and wisdom is effective. Antisemitism harks back millenniums. Worse, the demographics of the West are seeing a mass influence of Muslims who have in the Quaran multiple verses that spread hatred against Jews.
