Killing and bible thumping are the driving factors that our democracy is derived from., The killing love by the right is obvious, so I'll just deal with the Bible nonsense. What did the writers of the constitution and the declaration of independents think about the stupid Idea that his country is derived from some bible basis. Our first Treaty was the treaty of Tripoli and it was passed by 100% of the congress that was filled with writers and signers of the declaration of independents and the Constitution. To a standing ovation with John Adams saying "we are now a nation'
The 11th article in this treaty makes a fool out of this nonsense that the hate party lives on.

ARTICLE 11.

As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion,-as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Musselmen,-and as the said States never have entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mehomitan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

We are not only not Christain in nature but any other religion by nature. I prefer the secular society we have and the ability of anyone to follow what religion they please.

Actually, America's entire legal code is based upon the basic documents of Christianity including the 10 commandments.

"Thou shalt not bear false witness" is the basis of our laws against Perjury, "Thou shalt not steal" is the basis of our laws against robbery and larceny.

The reality is that we are, by nature, a Christian, God-Fearing nation, even as we don't have an established church.

So you hate Christians. I would have bet money on it. No big news.

Wrong every constitution in every country including dictatorships are all the same as far as those rites are concerned , that includes every nation in the world that isn't Christian, you can't hold onto something you don't own.

Anyone in any period of time would have come up with the ten commandments if they wanted to start any religion.

Hahahaha…poor desperate Tard.
Like it or not, everything about REAL America is rooted in and derived from Biblical philosophy….EVERYTHING!
Our founding documents, our currency, our culture, our moral order, our values, our history and traditions…EVERYTHING!
Sucks for all the filthy pieces of worthless dogshit among us to have to acknowlegde this truth..but it is what it is.

God's words says: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,

the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! Psalms

Clearly hear God is talking about Israel. BUT God's promise to Abraham... All Nations will be blessed Through Abraham, clearly would apply to our nation. This nation, The US, has been blessed by God, We have been protected. Now some would like to throw that blessing away and turn to another god.

Thankfully, God will be with his people no matter what happens to the nation.

Sorry bout that,

1. In GOD we trust, man is a liar.
2. Humanities only hope, Jesus Christ.
3. If you are a Jew, you are held up by Moses staff.

What will be shocking to them is how there was such an obvious clue all along of how we will fight when it gets down to it. They will be shocked and dismayed because they can't fathom something so dear that it's worth dying for.

Nice opinion , if it works for you that's fine, here's where you can find the 12 commandment "Chapter 20, verses 2 to 17, of the Book of Exodus and again in Chapter 5, verses 6 to 21, of the Book of Deuteronomy. or the 631 commandments in Leviticus Or here are thelast 3 commandments in the 13 commandments
11 th Commandment: 'Honour the earth, its plants, soil, water and air.'

12 th Commandment: 'thou shalt not be neglectful and lazy but keep thy mind and body healthy and disciplined'.

13 th Commandment: 'Thou shalt not enslave others, including thy enemies.

Or read Exodus 20 through exodus 22 there are 14 there.

Yup , as a constitution there is no other way. By the way I believe in what Jesus did and said, the rest comes with a grain of salt.
Or Jesus's 5 commandments This man asked Jesus, “What shall I do to inherit eternal life?” (Luke 18:18). Jesus answered that the basic starting point was keeping the Commandments, and then He listed five of them: “‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother’” (Luke 18:20).

The whole fake election proves how much the right is not Christian.

May we continue to be a nation that allows the practice of Christianity. In all places.

Yep. We were a christian nation in 1770, 1780, 1790, 1800, 1810, 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1890, 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930, 1940, 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000, and 2010.

But in 2022 with Dems in charge suddenly, it's like we never were! Imagine that.

One

Anson Phelps Stokes noted in his Church and State in the United States that the "only statement of any importance which we have found in the official documents of the United States which seems to deny specifically that the government was founded on the Christian religion" was one embedded in the Treaty of Tripoli, which assured the Ottoman state in 1797 that "the Government of the United States is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion." This contentious line generated a national controversy and prompted ratification of the Treaty of Peace and Amity in 1805 to supersede the earlier treaty.

Two

As Jefferson said, neither original of principle or sentiment, the American charter was an expression of the American mind (Letter to Henry Lee, May 8,1825). Manifest in that expression was the probity of the "Supreme Judge" and the protection of "divine Providence," who made independence possible, notwithstanding any contribution from Allah, Vishnu, or Buddha. As the Christian society matured, the federal government assumed its form in kind under the guidance and direction of the common law, classical antiquity, the Enlightenment, and the God of Abraham.

Three

Ben Franklin noted in his autobiography that, from his vantage point in Philadelphia, "it seemed as if all the world were growing religious, so that one could not walk thro' the town in an evening without hearing psalms sung in different families of every street."
