Countries with the highest renewable energy investments also have the most expensive electricity due to costly backup power requirements for solar and wind.

Wind and solar require a backup source. "Green" energy is only cheap when you ignore the required backup. Once it is included, the lie is exposed. The countries with the most aggressive "green" agendas have the highest electricity costs.

It's cheap to some with the right location, property, and wallet. But not so for many.
