I thought this article laid out quite accurately exactly what the motivation is in the country of Iran itself. I don't think this viewpoint represents 100% of the country in fact I don't think it represents a majority of the country but it does represent the viewpoint of those who are making the decisions.

Its only a matter of time before they collapse.

The collapse will happen from the inside I think.

As far as I know the majority of the Iranian people are not religious fanatics... Not like the ones who seized control of the government.

Am trying to work out which is longer in Trumpfy and Howfar's Universe .
Is it 2-3 days or more than 4 weeks ?

During a Pentagon worship service amid the U.S.-Iran war, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth prayed for "
overwhelming violence of action" against enemies, invoking his Christian faith. He asked for "righteous targets for violence" in the name of Jesus, a move that brought scrutiny to his religious rhetoric and focus on Crusader themes,

Well, Iran was exporting terrorism, making ballistic missiles which could eventually reach Europe and the US, was working on a nuclear weapons program, wanted Israel wiped off the face of the Earth, murdered it's own protesters by the tens of thousands, and were feared by even their Gulf state neighbors who want us to finish Iran off. So, they were already getting stronger and stronger.

You don't hear the left talking about the IRGC and what happened to several thousand protestors back in January.

It is a Holy War. Iran is the center of Shia Islam. It is the ONLY country in the world where Shia Islam is the foundation behind both the religious and the legal system.

I see you didn't read the OP
The OP didn't fully develop the true picture of what happens if Iran doesn't open Hormuz, and Trump starts destroying powerplants one-by-one until Hormuz is open, or until all the powerplants are destroyed.
