The police's own account reports that when Paul called to report the problem, HE referred to the attacker by name calling him a friend.

So Lessee if we got it all right so far:

1. The attacker breaks a glass window to get in, yet the glass was broken from the inside out and other things suggest he was just let straight in through the front door.
2. Despite having a list of supposed people he planned to attack, he had no weapons worse than a hammer, came only wearing underwear, and doesn't even bother knowing that Nancy wasn't even home despite her being the alleged goal of his attack.
3. After being let it, and in the middle of an attack, he excuses Paul to go to the bathroom to take a leak where he was able to call the police.
4. The police arrive expecting to only give a wellness check, and it isn't till then that the fight actually starts, in front of the police, with BOTH men having hammers!
5. The two men are fighting in their underwear, apparently know each other, and both have hammers.
6. Despite this being a common break in as far as SF goes, the FBI immediately gets involved, yet if this were anyone else, you'd be doing good just to get the cops to show up!
7. Going against standard procedure, the police have still not released neither the 911 tape to the public nor the police camera video.
8. They hold the man with no bail saying he is too dangerous preventing him from speaking to the public directly despite there being no evidence nor precedent to suggest he is any particular danger compared to other criminals.
9. Despite being the Speaker and their being worth hundreds of millions, they did not have even a K-Mart security system, no security cameras and no guards.
10. Every effort is being used to pass off this bizarre case that could only happen to a democrat, as somehow being connected to Trump and MAGA as a last ditch effort for democrats to try to salvage something from the election!

The founders did not set up a government for us to trust, they set up a government for us to monitor and prevent from having excessive power. Damn right law enforcement is not to be trusted, but should be closely watched and well-regulated by involved citizens. I'm responding to this:

That's why we gave local LE body cameras. They protect the good cops from false accusations, and give citizens a way to prove a bad cop was bad.

As soon as we see the footage from the SFPD body cameras at the Pelosi house, we'll start to get at the truth. Of course, it has often turned out that body camera footage is much more fragile than other digital footage and frequently gets lost or accidently destroyed. Any predictions about when we'll see that footage from the Pelosi house?

Does every law enforcement officer lie every time they open their mouths? Of course not. But based on their track record, trusting the DOJ/FBI to ruin a man's life based on their word would be ludicrous.
