To be honest, I'm not sure why the plan will be presented to the US at all. trump has shown himself to be an unworthy partner in any peace negotiation. He and Putin represent a unified front so why not just go straight to Vlad. Unless of course Putin insists his friend Don be included.

I hope this is correct, but it sounds too good to be true.

If the UK and France are so interested in a cease-fire, why did they not do this long ago?

When has Zelenskyy given any indication that he wants to cease firing? He said of Russian troop being killed "they came to our turf." He's going to suddenly want to stop killing them?

If so, it will only be because Trump and Vance made it clear that the U.S. is not going to finance his killing spree.
