There are 7 bankruptcies, including:

Taj Mahal Atlantic City, 1991
Trump Plaza, Atlantic City, 1992
Trump Castle, Atlantic City, 1992
Plaza Hotel, New York, 1992
Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts filed for bankruptcy, again in 2004
Trump Entertainment Resorts filed for bankruptcyin 2009; and
Trump Hotel, Toronto, in 2016.

These are also dozens of failed Trump businesses and projects - Trump Airlines, Trump Wine, Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka, and failed developments all over the world. All of his American properties are losing money except the three golf clubs on the east coast where he spends his weekends.

The reason the venerable Doral is being rented out to a strip club is that revenues are down 69%. Apparently the Club was very profitable until Trump was elected President and poisoned his own brand. The PGA pulled its tour event from Doral, and sales have slumped ever since.

Are you trying to convince us that billionaires are failures?
Do you really expect a sane mind to take you serious?

Trump is NOT a billionaire. Show us the evidence that Trump is actually worth more than $1billion. The REAL reason why he doesn't release his tax returns is that it shows how little he's worth. Deutches Banke says he's worth $350 million, and they've seen REAL financial statements.

Sane minds take me seriously. I expect nothing from you.

/——/ Link
Why do you kids always want links for shit that is common knowledge?
The sky is blue. You don't need a damn link.
/——-/ Trump has never filed for personal bankruptcy. That’s why I asked for a link knowing you couldn’t provide one. It’s like playing wack a mole with you libtards. BTW
Trump’s four corporate bankruptcies were Chapter 11 reorganizations (named for its location in federal bankruptcy code), which are designed to restructure businesses without shutting them down completely. The purpose is to "save" the business, as opposed to other forms of bankruptcy which would liquidate the company, said Michael Venditto, a partner at the ReedSmith law firm who has extensive experience with Chapter 11.
Fact-checking claims about Donald Trump's four bankruptcies
Don't be silly, those corporate bankruptcies are filed to protect his personal property from his business failures. They are his bankruptcies.

Stop defending the orange fool.
/—-/ The purpose of a corporation is to protect the owners personal property even if it goes belly up. Don’t you remember that from Business 101? Bwhahahaha Bwhahahaha
Duh. That's what I just said.

Claiming he didn't file bankruptcy is dishonest. He manifestly has. Many times.
/——/ No he never filed personal bankruptcy. 4 of his hundreds of corporations filed for reorganization. I know basic economics is confusing to you.

Trump had NOTHING to do with the US Energy independence. Absolutely NOTHING. The USA started increasing production under Bush, and accelerated it greatly under Obama. Energy production under the Trump Administration has actually slowed.

Is U.S. Energy Independence In Sight?

I love how you fools just openly give Trump credit for the economy, and energy production.
/——/ Yes Trump did. He removed regulations that hampered the industry. Obozo blocked oil exploration on public land but he couldn’t stop it on private land. So production increased in spite of Obozo. Remember Drill Baby Drill?

That claim wasn’t made.

Further…if you want the nation run like a business (as far as I know, he’s never had a corporation by the way), you’re interested in how many of his businesses have gone belly up. Seven of them.
Many, if not most, of the others are defunct or not profitable.

The increases in oil and gas production are tailing off under Trump. Trump hasn’t increased oil and gas production at anywhere near the rates that Obama did. His deregulation is a bust.

Like the economy the job creation and other Obama achievements that Trump is now claiming full credit for, energy production was better under Obama

I voted for Trump because he wasn't a professional politician.

He's a man with a truck load of common sense and great decision making ability.

He's done one fine job so far and he'll get my vote in 2020.

Personal animosity aside, why would people who are pro-US NOT vote for Trump. What has Trump done or not done to make people not want to vote for him? By nearly every metric, he should be a shoe-in for those that want to see the US succeed, but the left can't get past their hatred for him, despite his successes.

The Never-Trumpers are mad that Trump is doing everything they have always demanded because they don’t like his style, abruptness and confrontational personality. They would rather see him fail. President Obama's Energy Report Card

/—-/ The only joke is Obozo saying we can’t drill our way to oil independence. We did it anyway

Yes, and President Obama, H Clinton, and even RINOS are also all on the record that America's manufacturing base is gone and won't come back. We did lessen energy dependence during the Obama Administration, but it has to be galling to them that we achieved energy independence under President Trump. And that the bleeding of manufacturing jobs has mostly stopped and we are actually gaining manufacturing jobs again.

Turning around the coal industry is tougher because of so much previous transitioning out of coal energy, but the bleeding has stopped there too and coal jobs have modestly increased. More businesses are returning to the USA than are leaving now because of President Trump's business friendly policies and a tax code that encourages them to use their operating and venture capital here instead of overseas.

These are all positive metrics for America and Americans. And Trump haters hate it because they hate him so much they want the news to be all doom and gloom to make President Trump look bad. But then these are the same people who actually resent or disparage America, some even loathe it, and a Make America Great Again or Keep America Great concept is repugnant to them.

Obama didn't do all bad things and it is wrong of his opposition to characterize his administration as worse than it was. All of Hillary's proposals weren't terrible and it is wrong of her opposition to criticize her where it isn't warranted.

But the fact is, Obama was not a good friend to America. I honestly believe he was among those who thought other countries far superior in many ways as he rarely said good things about his country but more often apologized for it and put it down. Obama's policies included good and bad but also produced a lackluster, stagnant economy that benefited mostly the rich. And Hillary's platform included no vision or ideas to do anything any differently.

Under President Trump there is consumer and business confidence that we haven't seen for a very long time. Unemployment went down under Obama but so did labor participation. President Trump has continued to lower unemployment, and his policies have also lowered unemployment among blacks, Hispanics, Asians, women, youth, the hard core unemployed to historic levels while wages and benefits have significantly improved for many. Last month the labor participation rate ticked up despite record numbers of baby boomers who are now retiring. I am seeing a lot of long vacant commercial buildings filling up again.

By almost every metric, President Trump's score card looks a lot better than President Obama's.

Robert Curry raised an interesting question in this short essay this week.
https://amgreatness.com/2019/07/03/is-common-sense-making-a-comeback/

He observed the glaring lack of common sense in the Democrat debates with Julian Castro advocating abortion rights for transgender women taking the top prize for the proposal demonstrating the least common sense. But as he sadly but accurately pointed out, whoever wins the Democrat nomination is unlikely to do so by promoting a common sense agenda, goals, objectives etc. (Personal note: common sense Democrats are being booed off stages almost everywhere.)

That is a sad commentary on our current political environment though probably many Democrats will not agree with it. But for conservatives, Curry is just stating the obvious and preaching to the choir.

The more interesting point he raised is that President Trump was/is clearly the common sense candidate. I concur with that. He isn't partisan. He is no ideologue. He can't be described as a conservative, libertarian, or right winger. But his vision, his goals, his objectives are all solidly rooted in common sense. What the problem actually is. What needs to happen to solve it.

But the question is, did America elect him mostly because he offered common sense that we were hungry for? Or did people vote mostly against what they saw as blatant obviousness of Clinton dishonesty and corruption mixed with lack of vision and promoting an unacceptable status quo?

If the vote was more against Hillary than for Trump, what will that bode for the 2020 election? Is there sufficient appreciation for what the President has accomplished to earn him sufficient votes to win next year? Or has America lost it to the point that they will vote for irrationality instead of common sense?

So where are you at this point?

Will you vote for President Trump because he is the Republican? Or because he is the common sense candidate? Or will you vote against him because he is Donald J. Trump? Or will you vote against him because he is on the Republican ticket? Or will you vote for any Democrat to prevent a Republican win? Or will you vote for somebody else for reasons not enumerated here?

Please explain your vote.

(Multiple choice on the poll and you can change your vote if you change your mind.)

Given that the two candidates ultimately will be Trump and one of the dems … there will be no common sense candidate or issue in this election.

For somebody with 'no common sense', President Trump is sure producing some impressively good common sense results and he is doing it in the face of the most destructive, hateful, dishonest opposition that any President has ever had to face at least in this or the last century. I don't always appreciate his style, but I sure can't complain about those results.

Imagine what he could accomplish if Congress and the MSM gave him some help.

The hateful left is doing its best to tie Trump to Epstein, but they are having a tough time doing that when so many of their own darlings have had close, cozy relationships with Epstein right up to the current allegations. And they are doing their damndest to avoid including the fact that Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-lago more than a decade ago and hasn't had anything to do with him since.

But only the numb nuttiest of the numb nuts would make the post you just made and ignore everything else. Doesn't that embarrass you at all?
